Why Paper?

Like any agricultural produce that we eat, consume or use in any form, paper is a renewable resource whose basic raw materials: Wood & Water are both renewable. Paper itself is recyclable hence we never run the risk of running out of Paper.

Agreed, Trees are harvested to make Paper. However, in addition to trees there are other sources of raw material to make Paper. Some of these are:

• Crushed Sugarcane Waste
• Other Agri Waste
• And Paper itself i.e. Used Paper

Think, if all these items were not used as raw material to make Paper where would have they landed. Most likely land fill sites. Moreover, Trees that are harvested to make paper are replanted to make the next batch of paper. This is similar to growing crops on a piece of land. While growing crops one doesn't move from one patch of land to another and it is the same in the case of Paper. 

At PLG Overseas, our Mission is to source Paper from such responsibly managed Forest and Paper Producers within India & across the globe.
